MISSION

The HIV Research Section's mission is to conduct ethical, innovative research that is likely to have the greatest impact on preventing HIV infection and AIDS in this changing epidemic. We provide leadership in developing critical research questions and communicating our study results widely.

We value our diverse study volunteers and build local and global partnerships with communities, scientists and policy makers. Our interdisciplinary, multi-cultural work environment promotes personal and professional growth.

VISION

We are committed to providing leadership in the development and testing of strategies to prevent HIV infection and disease progression. By collaborating with other researchers and communities throughout the world, our scientific breakthroughs will be used to help the people most affected by the epidemic.
